Mission Statement

We aim to cultivate and nurture a supportive environment for underrepresented in medicine (URM) residents and faculty in the BWH Department of Medicine. We are involved in internal medicine residency recruitment, collaboration with Boston area medical schools, community outreach, policy advocacy, health equity research, and career mentoring. In addition, we aim to bring together those interested in issues related to health equity, health care disparities, and racial injustice.
