Starting in 2021, the BWH IM residency launched the “BWH Families,” an opportunity to build additional community and mentorship opportunities within our residency. All the residents are divided into four “families,” named after the colors of the Boston T (subway) lines; each family has a chief resident and a faculty member at the helm, who are passionate about serving as role models, mentors, and advisors to our residents.
